Excellence for Everyone

"When I received this book and after a quick look through, I immediately found that the book, and the way it has been set out, is in a very, very user-friendly format.

On closer examination and study, the book outlines all aspects for the Highland piper at this level. Everything is set out in a simple, easy to understand format, and the 3 colour coordinated areas make it easy to find where you are.

What I really like about this method of learning is that the book and EVERY lesson thoroughly covers everything from music theory to technique, music writing, bagpipe maintenance and performance preparation.

It is great to see that finally such an excellent system of study material will be now available for teachers and students of all levels to enable them to become better players and also gaining more knowledge to assist them in their pursuit of excellence."

Bagpipes For Beginners

The bagpipe is Scotland's national instrument and is played throughout the world. Learning to play the pipes as a solo piper or as a member of a team in a pipe band, is an amazing journey with learning outcomes and experiences that go far beyond musical performance.

"Bagpipes for Beginners" is the first step of this amazing journey for the complete beginner, teaching project, or ambitious pipe band that requires a grass roots training programme and feeder system if it is to achieve long term, sustainable success.
